Upgrading & Downgrading

You can change your plan at any time from the dashboard or via the API.

Upgrading​

Upgrades take effect immediately:

  • Your new plan limits apply right away
  • A prorated charge is calculated for the remaining days in your billing period
  • The prorated amount is charged to your payment method

Example​

If you upgrade from Starter ($19/mo) to Pro ($49/mo) on day 15 of a 30-day period:

  • Remaining: 15 days
  • Starter credit: -$9.50 (unused portion)
  • Pro charge: +$24.50 (remaining portion)
  • Net charge: $15.00

Via Dashboard​

  1. Go to Billing > Plan in the Dashboard
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select the new plan
  4. Review the prorated charge
  5. Confirm

Downgrading​

Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period:

  • You keep your current plan's limits until the period ends
  • The new (lower) plan starts at the next billing cycle
  • No prorated refund is issued

Important Notes​

  • If your current usage exceeds the new plan's limits, you may need to reduce usage before the downgrade takes effect
  • API keys beyond the new plan's limit are not automatically revoked, but you cannot create new ones
  • Files beyond the new plan's retention period are deleted at the transition

Canceling​

To cancel entirely, see Cancel Subscription. Your account reverts to the Free plan at the end of the billing period.
